Her performances include Damn Yankees (the first African American 'Lola' opposite Jerry Lewis), The Dancer’s Life (opposite Chita Rivera), Smokey Joe’s Cafe, 9 to 5, Fosse, The Wiz, Cats, The Who’s Tommy, Mamma Mia!, Sistas, Crowns, Sweet Charity, Caroline, or Change, and Dreamgirls. Her TV appearances include Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Chapelle’s Show, and The Wire.
