Don Darryl Rivera was born in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in Theatre.
Don Darryl originated the role of Iago in Disney's Aladdin on Broadway opposite Jonathan Freeman who originated the role of Jafar in the Aladdin Disney animated film and for the Broadway musical.
