After reading all the bad reviews (some here) of Borderlands, I decided to give it a watch. To be brutally honest, I actually enjoyed it. It’s definitely not a movie I’d watch again, but it was entertaining enough that if forced to choose, I’d rather watch it again over any of the Ant-Man films. Brittle, boring and badly miscast, there is little to like in Borderlands. Once witty, satirical, over the top and above all else, a colourfully fun gaming experience, in my view this film mirrors, what the Borderlands franchise has become.
