The escapades of rock 'n roller "Jeep Jackson" (Anthony Newley) after he is called up, but posted to the "Wrexham Foot" regiment by mistake. Lionel Jeffries ("Burton Bassett") is his commanding officer, and together with William Bendix ("Sgt. Lush") has to try and knock him into shape.
