I've seen worse, though that's not to say this isn't bad - it most certainty is. The premise is fairly interesting but, as usual with films from the The Asylum, the special effects and overall acting let it down massively. Monster Island, a syfy original movie from 2019. Wow, I gotta say the CGI is so bad I know it isn't a movie with a huge budget but still it looks like it was made 15 years ago. The acting ain't that bad, it's slightly below average for me at least.
