This is a charming little yarn showcasing Elsa Lanchester on her own for a change. She is a British cleaning woman ("Mrs. Muggins") who, in possession of her late husband's "lucky" glass eye, sets off from a bombed London to get herself a job as a cleaner in Hitler's own Chancellory and to assassinate him.
