For me, Set it Up is a typical mid-quality romantic comedy. It is witty in places and a smart script mostly of the time. It separates itself from other rom-coms in at least one way. Normally you have a couple either in love at the start or who meet early on and fall in love, and then have to survive challenges along the way if they are to produce the required happy ending.
