I wonder if, when Ben Cross walked onto the set here for the first time, he considered that as career nadirs go, this is almost as bad as Jeffrey Hunter's. No more "Chariots of Fire" (1981) just the other kind of chariot that swings low - and very low at that. This time, our sex-pest alien is dying.
