Better than average modern slasher. It is derivative, because it is a slasher, by it's very nature it kinda has to be derivative. But it's smarter than it seems, even if it is basic towards the end. There's some good acting and an actual plot for the main characters, even if the killer reveal is cheap, obvious and uninspired.
