Twin City Sympathies

A love letter to Minneapolis, Minnesota Nice, and Myself. Twin City Sympathies is represented through repeating visuals of Hennepin Ave Bridge, heading towards the heart of downtown on a foggy day. The narration representing half of the Twin Cities, Minneapolis, voicing the ironically surface level kindness of Minnesota Nice. Passive aggressive, but friendly - warmly welcoming, but coldly distant. David Matthew Johnson relates these defining Minnesota traits to his own personal expression of self.
