Ascension
In 1963, the U.S. government launched a covert space mission sending hundreds of men, women and children on a century-long voyage aboard the starship Ascension to populate a new world. There are TV shows that make you feel like you're really there - this isn't one of those. It's not entirely clear whether it's the acting, the set, the colors, or something else, but everything feels so obviously acted that giving into the Sci-Fi illusion is very difficult. To make matters worse, the first episode gives away a major plot point which veers the entire story in another direction. ...
