El Inmortal: Gangs of Madrid

The Immortal, for me, is reminiscent of series like Gomorrah, with a Spanish, rather than an Italian flavour. Its equally downbeat and gritty, like its Italian counterpart but with even more of a working class vibe. There's a very strong, poor boy, makes good back story, with the key character rising socially, as he rises criminally, in the underworld, of Madrid. Money and celebrity, of a kind...
