Gonna be honest. I did not expect to enjoy this show as much as I did, but from the opening sequence, it just grabbed me and held my attention. Neither the Victorian era nor period pieces particularly excite me, but this one is well-written, well-costumed, well-filmed, and exceedingly well-acted. **FANTASTIC SERIES!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻** One of the best shows I've seen in 2025. We binged the entire series in three days 😂 Fantastic acting and it was one of those you can tell the actors had a great time performing. I am a sucker for almost all period dramas but this is top-shelf for me. Plus James Norton is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Can't wait for Season 2! **10/10**
